Project Catwalk’s (Project Runway UK) Season 1 host Elizabeth Hurley has decided to wrap up her acting career and move on as an organic farming entrepreneur.

The Estée Lauder endorser has decided to develop her own range of organic foods on her vast Gloucestershire estate. Hurley is required to meet organic standards and gain official organic status from the UK Soil Association but has already purchased proper poultry and livestock, in addition to her organic crop .
“It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. It’s the only place I want to be. When we get our organic status we’re going to farm properly and we’re going to have a herd of cows and proper sheep and proper chickens, and we’re going to have small amounts of Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs. I’ve joined the breeders’ club already and I’m quite excited about it. I would like to go for some kind of organic food production and I plan to do it - maybe something Indian,” the long time advocate of organic lifestyle said.
Hurley, who turned down the Pretty Woman 2 project, has eagerly expressed her passion for this new venture.

Wonderful idea to go into organic farming. There is mention about cows, sheep, chickens and even “Gloucestershire Old Spot” pigs, but what about honeybees? For virtually all fruit bearing crops, bees are needed to ensure fertilization of the ovules, better known as pollination. Without bees, no fruit or seeds.
I hope Ms. Hurley will include honeybees as part of her farming adventure!
