Media buzz lately has been good to green tea. More large-scale companies like Lipton, Snapple, Starbucks, and even a beer company are increasingly showing significant interest to this new fad that they cannot miss out. As an intelligent consumer, you don’t want to be fooled and realize that you are simply drinking sugar with an itty bitty dash of green tea in it, much like how everyone else thinks that my logo is a toxic waste bin
, until I tell you it’s the vector counterpart of this matcha green tea cup pictured in this article.
Sure, you have in your pantry, green tea bags (bad choice), or a stock of green tea leaves, either the Chinese (why?) or Japanese (better but not good enough) variety, but hear me out. Soon, you would want to switch to Matcha for your next tea party.

This morning I had the usual corn flakes cereals with dried strawberries. I could have chosen a healthier option like going for the hot-oatmeal-with-milk route but variety makes life more enjoyable,
although there have been researches that grain food (not carbs in general), per se, be it organic or not, is inherently unhealthy. Studies I have loosely read conclude that this does not fit well in the dietary needs of us humans based on our genetic makeup which may be traced back to the paleolithic era, thus the birth of the “Paleolithic/Caveman” special diet with Loren Cordain, Ph.D. as one of its popular endorsers. It may also be noted that most food allergies stem from or are related to grain foods. This may be discussed on a later date. For now let’s talk about the breakfast. We won’t make it too dramatic but we’re simply excited about this whole new web endeavor we are trekking. On behalf of the site’s full force, I welcome you to healthynerd. Relevant entries will hopefully follow and fill this little space in the web logging community.
Some of the aesthetics are still quite buggy especially in IE browsers versions 6 and below. We will have to perform updates gradually while maintaining the site content, which is what’s most significant. We shall likewise consider modifying the site identity as the supposed green tea cup seemed as though a “toxic waste bin” to more than one person. The orange curvature representing the initials h and n (healthynerd) did not help dissolving this illusion either.
Anyway enough about trivial stuff.
May I very well acknowledge headzoo and Lazaryn for the blockquote RegEx filter function. I also appreciate fightingfriends’ pre-emptive “teaser”
. Thanks to you and to the rest of the #freenode community.
